About the Registry

Transparent. Accountable. Nationally Governed.

The Philippine National Carbon Registry is the official national platform for registering mitigation activities, recording Government decisions and publishing transparent carbon market information.

It is established and maintained by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), designated under Executive Order No. 127 as the national authority for carbon markets, with policy coordination by the Inter-Agency Committee on Carbon Markets.

The Registry supports two participation tracks — Article 6 and Non-Article 6 — and upholds five integrity principles: environmental integrity, technical credibility, alignment with national climate commitments, environmental and social safeguards, and transparency and accountability.
